ROME & LAZIO AT EXPO MILANO 2015: THE BEST OF LOCAL FOOD

Out of twenty regions in Italy, two of them will enjoy particular attention at Expo Milano 2015: Lombardia and Lazio, as headed by Milan and Rome respectively, the two major Italian cities.
Both will expose the best of their local products in dedicated pavilions, side by side to those of the 130 foreign countries taking part to the event with their stands.
During your days in Rome, you can have a trip in the lands which surround the Eternal City just by entering any restaurant and tasting one of the several delicacies which have been selected to represent the region in the world: 26 wines14 meat and sausages8 types of bakery and confectionery10 varieties of cheeses and dairy products; 26 including vegetablesfruits and legumes; 4 oils and 12 among fish products, mineral waters and other categories.
