Italy is looking with excitement at 2015, the year of Expo Milano, the Universal Exposition taking place in the biggest north Italian city from May 1 to October 31, 2015.
It will be a colossal event involving almost 140 countries, supposed to attract about 20 million visitors.
Rome is contributing to it by offering any kind of reference point to visitors directed to Milan: from information & booking stands in the city center, to food pavilions inside her two airport. Rome will be providing with samples of what has been set up in Milan to welcome Expo travelers.
The leading theme of the 2015 edition is food (“Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”), in such a way that it won’t be treated just as something to taste or buy, but as the most precious source for life, and consequently as a topic of discussion from the educational perspective.
Hostel Des Artistes is located in Rome city center, strategically close to Termini station: many trains every hour will be at your disposal to come and go to Milan in a short timespan!
